Cucumber
Cucumbers make a great snack for your dog, and for you too (do not steal theirs). Cucumbers contain Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Potassium, and Magnesium, all of which are important components of a healthy dog’s diet. Further more, they are low in calories and mostly fiber. Because of that, if your dog likes cucumbers, this can be an excellent snack to train your dog with.
Dogs cannot have pickled cucumbers as they often contain unnecessary or harmful salt. Avoid those completely.
Too much of a good thing can be bad though. Whether they grow sick of it or gorge themselves on it and thereby choking on it, it’s good to provide them these Kuro Snacks in moderation. Be careful of your dog overeating cucumbers as they can upset the tummy.
If your dog has not tasted cucumbers before, do take note of how your dog reacts to it, adjusting to new food may mean an upset tummy, but if it is prolonged, you might want to try another alternative. Get in touch with us today if you require Bespoke Kuro Snacks that are tailored for them.
